Day 1
genoa, italy
Departure: 18:00
Genoa is a city of contrasts: it is a city of art as well as an industrial city. It has glass skyscrapers and medieval towers, business centers and untouched historical sites. Genoa is one of Italy’s most significant ports that now houses Europe’s largest aquarium and the biggest maritime history museum in the Mediterranean. Wandering through its narrow, winding lanes, known as caruggi, visitors will uncover architectural treasures, some outstanding museums and art galleries. Porta Soprana, the most famous gate in the ancient Genoa city walls, leads to the Piazza de Ferrari, with its Palace of the Doges and the Opera House. Along the Strade Nuove, a breathtaking avenue listed as a World Heritage Site, is where we find the Palazzi dei Rolli, a list of aristocratic homes that serve as a reminder of the city’s imperial past. Genoa is a mysterious and reserved city, it will guide you to fantastic bars, share its cuisine and offer you a taste of culture, but it’ll need to get to know you first.
la spezia, italy

Day 2
la spezia, italy
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 18:00
The city of La Spezia is situated in the Liguria region of Northern Italy and serves as the capital of the province bearing the same name. It is nestled in the Gulf of La Spezia, also referred to as Golfo dei Poeti (of the poets), as it was once home to renowned English poets such as Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822) and George Byron (1788-1824). La Spezia is known for its commercial port, one of the most significant in Italy, but it also houses one of the country's largest military industries, OTO Melara. Despite La Spezia's modern appearance (most of its buildings were constructed after 1920), the surrounding area is rich in attractions. The region boasts picturesque villages like Lerici, Portovenere (a traditional fishing village), and the Cinque Terre, where a national Natural Park has been established. Cinque Terre, Portovenere, and the islands of Palmaria, Tino, and Tinetto have been recognized as world heritage sites by UNESCO.
Civitavecchia (Rome), italy

Day 3
Civitavecchia (Rome), italy
Arrival: 08:30 - Departure: 19:00
Modern and ancient, past and present coexist, constantly. Whether you're in Rome for 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months, be ready to step into the world's largest open-air museum. Rome will charm you and it will hardly leave you unaffected. It will astonish you, as it has so much to offer to any visitor, and its beauty has merely been slightly obscured by the passage of time. Rome is one of the world's most photogenic cities - not surprising when you consider what's here - The Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, St Peter's Square, Spanish Steps, Colosseum... Whether you spend your time sightseeing, or lounging in cafes watching the world pass by, it will be your turn to star in your very own Roman Holiday. If you can plan to stay for at least a week, you won't run out of things to do and you'll still feel like you're leaving too soon.

Day 4
amalfi, italy
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 16:30
The Amalfi Coast is a section of shoreline on the southern edge of the Sorrentine Peninsula in the Province of Salerno in Southern Italy. The Amalfi Coast is a region of immense natural beauty and diverse landscapes. It has been densely populated by human societies since the early Middle Ages. There are several towns like Amalfi and Ravello that house architectural and artistic masterpieces of great importance. Punta Campanella is one of the many marine watch areas in Italy. This region spans two provinces, Napoli and Salerno, and is a major tourist attraction. The Cathedral of Amalfi is an architectural complex consisting of two interconnected churches, a crypt, a staircase, an atrium, a bell tower, and a cloister known as the "Chiostro del Paradiso".
naples/capri, italy

Day 4
naples/capri, italy
Arrival: 20:00 - Departure: 21:00
Capri is a stunningly picturesque retreat located 5 km from mainland Italy in the Bay of Naples. It has been a renowned beauty spot and seaside resort since the era of the emperors. It is a highly sought-after destination due to its rural charm, leisurely pace of life, and unforgettable views. Capri is bathed in constant sunshine and proudly upholds its well-earned reputation as a Garden of Eden. Capri town is the primary settlement on the island and can be reached via a funicular railway that operates from the dock in Marina Grande. The town's central square, Piazza Umberto, is a bustling hub that houses a handful of shops, cafes, and restaurants, and is the terminus of the funicular railway. The square is surrounded by the "Torre dell'Orologio", or Clock Tower, and the island's main church, San Stefano. Anacapri, the island's second-largest settlement, is situated a few miles west of Capri town. Anacapri offers visitors numerous art and craft shops, as well as the opportunity to take a chair lift ride to the peak of Mount Solaro.
messina, italy
5
Day 5
messina, italy
Arrival: 07:00 - Departure: 16:00
Messina is in the northeast of Sicily, Italy, just 5 km across the Straits of Messina from the region of Calabria on the mainland. It is the third-largest city on the island of Sicily. From Messina, land and sea excursions let you discover every corner of the Aeolian Islands, rich in beaches and tiny coves where you can stop and explore, even if only for a few hours. The active volcano Mt. Etna dominates the landscape, its vegetation broken by ribbons of black, solidified lava. Caves and varied environments alternate along its slopes, which you can traverse to reach the summit, where a great “mouth of fire” awaits. A must-see is Pollara Beach on the island of Salina, which lies in the crater formed by the six volcanoes that shaped Salina around 13,000 years ago. Nearby, the Ancient Theatre—one of the greatest monuments of the Greco-Roman era—is set amid expanses of olive, orange, and almond groves that fill the air with their exotic fragrances.
Passing Stromboli Island
6
Day 5
Passing Stromboli Island
Arrival: 20:00 - Departure: 21:00
Stromboli is a small island in the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the north coast of Sicily, home to Mount Stromboli, one of the three active volcanoes in Italy. It is one of the eight Aeolian Islands, a volcanic arc north of Sicily. Strabo wrote that people believed this is where Aeolus lived. Its name comes from the Ancient Greek Strongýlē, derived from στρογγύλος (strongýlos, “round”), referring to the volcano’s round, conical shape when seen from a distance. As of 2016, the island’s population is about 500. The volcano has erupted many times and is constantly active with minor eruptions, often visible from many points on the island and from the surrounding sea, earning Stromboli the nickname “Lighthouse of the Mediterranean.”
provence (toulon), france
7
Day 7
provence (toulon), france
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Toulon is a medium-sized city located between Marseille and Nice, on the western edge of the French Riviera in the southeastern part of Provence. Its history goes back around three thousand years. The vieille ville (old town), dating from the Middle Ages, lies just north of the harbor and is characterized by very narrow, winding streets. The harbor and its promenade are lined with souvenir shops, cafés, and fish restaurants. Key sights in Toulon include: - **Tour de l’Horloge** – A monumental clock tower at the entrance to the naval base. - **Saint François de Paule Church** – An 18th-century church in typical Baroque style. - **Place Puget** – The historic heart of the city, with a fountain built in 1780. It’s a pleasant, shaded square where you can relax at a café during a hot afternoon. - **Sainte-Marie-de-la-Seds Cathedral** – Located near Place Puget, this cathedral was begun in the 11th century. It was never fully completed, but was widened in 1738 and houses numerous 18th-century paintings. Beautiful beaches can be found in the small towns surrounding Toulon, making it a good base for exploring both cultural sights and the Mediterranean coast.
The Darkest Point of the Ligurian Sea
8
Day 7-8
The Darkest Point of the Ligurian Sea
Arrival: 23:30 - Departure: 00:30
Liguria is a narrow crescent of coastline in northwestern Italy, stretching from the French border to Tuscany, framed by steep hills and the sparkling Ligurian Sea. Despite its small size, the region is remarkably diverse: glamorous resorts, colorful fishing villages, medieval hill towns, and terraced vineyards all lie within a short train ride of each other. The capital, Genoa, is a gritty yet fascinating port city with a maze-like historic center, impressive palaces, and a strong maritime heritage that helped shape both Italian and European history. Along the eastern Riviera, the world‑famous Cinque Terre draws visitors with its pastel-colored villages clinging to cliffs above the sea. Hiking trails link Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore, offering unforgettable coastal views at every turn. Nearby, Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure provide a more refined, resort-style atmosphere, with elegant waterfront promenades, chic boutiques, and hidden coves that are perfect for swimming or sailing. Inland, quieter valleys shelter ancient stone hamlets, chestnut forests, and scenic routes for walkers and cyclists. The western Riviera, or Riviera di Ponente, is known for its long sandy beaches and Belle Époque villas. Towns like Sanremo, Alassio, and Finale Ligure offer a relaxed seaside vibe, ideal for families and sun-seekers, while the rocky stretches between them hide snorkeling spots and tranquil, crystal-clear bays. History enthusiasts can explore medieval villages such as Dolceacqua and Apricale, where narrow alleyways, stone bridges, and hilltop castles form a striking contrast to the livelier coastal towns. Food is a highlight of any visit to Liguria. This is the birthplace of basil pesto, traditionally pounded in a marble mortar and served with trofie or trenette pasta. Focaccia—plain or topped with onions, olives, or cheese—is an everyday staple, best eaten warm from the bakery. Fresh seafood dominates coastal menus, while inland trattorias serve hearty vegetable pies, chickpea farinata, and local wines such as Vermentino and Pigato. Whether you are hiking, swimming, or simply wandering its colorful streets, Liguria offers an authentic slice of Italian coastal life with a distinctive character all its own.
