The Hindu Temple at Pashupatnath provides a good insight into Hinduism in Kathmandu. Here, you will witness the large fires for cremations on the banks of the Baghmati River. Head to Thamel for restaurants, bars, and shops. Nepal's most cosmopolitan city has a lot to offer, and it also serves as an ideal starting point to explore the rest of this enchanting and intriguing country.
