Day 1
buenos aires, argentina
Departure: 17:00
The city of Buenos Aires is the capital and largest city of Argentina. Roughly 3 million people live in this city. Including the metropolitan area, the total population of Buenos Aires is over 12 million, making it one of the 10 most populated urban centres in the world. Buenos Aires is a massive city, with loads of neighbourhoods to visit and so much to see and do! The wonderfully colourful neighbourhood right next to the old port of Buenos Aires, La Boca is synonymous with both tango and football. With its multi-coloured houses and taverns, the neighbourhood maintains its tango tradition, football passion, and Italian roots. Today, it is one of the most important cultural centres and tourist attractions in Buenos Aires. Take a walking tour, watch a match at the famous Boca stadium or attend a local tango show. San Telmo, the oldest residential neighbourhood in Buenos Aires, exudes a special historical vibe. As one of the most important centres during the 19th century, San Telmo has preserved many of Buenos Aires’ architectural landmarks, museums, antique shops and old churches. Puerto Madero is a new neighbourhood full of restaurants and bars. It's nice to walk there on a sunny day, the view is pretty nice. Vibrant, nostalgic, seductive and dynamic, Buenos Aires is a European city with a Latin-American twist. Without a doubt, a truly fascinating city.

Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 17:00
Montevideo, located on the east bank of the Rio de la Plata, is the delightful capital city of Uruguay. It's a modern and lively city with loads of interesting spots to visit, and some grand beaches nearby. In the Ciudad Vieja, the old colonial city, situated on one side of Bahia de Montevideo, is chock-full of stunning colonial buildings, Spanish style squares and a number of striking churches. The Casa Rivera and the Museo de Artes Decorativas are must-sees. At the heart of the district is the Plaza Independencia, with its palm-lined streets, and the somber Mausoleo Jose Artigas topped by a 30-ton statue of the country's hero. Close to Plaza Independencia you'll find the Palacio Salvo and the Puerta de la Ciudadela. Museum lovers will enjoy the collections of the Museo de la Historia del Arte and the Museo del Carnaval, which documents Montevideo's 100-year love affair with Carnaval. The Torre Antel offers cracking views of the city from the top. And be sure to take an evening to stroll along and admire the sunset from the Rambla along the coast. Montevideo is not only the main city of Uruguay; it is its brain and soul. A friendly spot, where you can still stroll with no rush, and everyone has time to have a coffee and a chat with a mate. Small buildings, several beaches, wooded parks and a lovely Old Town charm the visitors.

Day 5
port stanley, falkland is
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 18:00
The Falkland Islands are an archipelago in the South Atlantic Ocean on the Patagonian Shelf. The main islands lie about 300 miles (480 kilometres) east of the southern Patagonian coast of South America and around 752 miles (1,210 kilometres) from the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula, at roughly 52°S. Covering an area of about 4,700 square miles (12,000 square kilometres), the archipelago consists of East Falkland, West Falkland, and 776 smaller islands. As a British Overseas Territory, the Falklands have internal self-government, while the United Kingdom is responsible for defence and foreign affairs. The capital and largest settlement is Stanley, on East Falkland. The islands sit on the boundary between subantarctic oceanic and tundra climate zones, and both of the main islands have mountain ranges rising to about 2,300 feet (700 metres). They support large bird populations, although many species no longer breed on the main islands because of predation by introduced animals. The economy is based mainly on fishing, tourism, and sheep farming, with a particular focus on exporting high-quality wool.
cape horn, chile

Day 7
cape horn, chile
Arrival: 16:00 - Departure: 18:00
Cape Horn (Spanish: Cabo de Hornos) is the southernmost headland of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago in southern Chile, located on the small Hornos Island. While it is not the absolute southernmost point of South America (that distinction belongs to the Diego Ramírez Islands), Cape Horn marks the northern boundary of the Drake Passage and the meeting point of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. First rounded in 1616 by Dutchman Willem Schouten and Belgian Jacob Le Maire, who named it Kaap Hoorn after the city of Hoorn in the Netherlands, Cape Horn soon became a major milestone on the clipper route, along which sailing ships carried trade around the globe. The waters in this area are notoriously hazardous, with strong winds, large waves, powerful currents and drifting icebergs. The opening of the Panama Canal in August 1914 greatly reduced the need for ships to round Cape Horn. Even so, sailing around the Horn remains one of the great challenges in yachting. A small number of recreational sailors still take this route, often as part of a circumnavigation. Most choose channels to the north of the Cape, sometimes detouring through the islands to anchor and wait for a weather window to visit Horn Island or sail around it in order to replicate a traditional rounding. Several major ocean yacht races – including the Volvo Ocean Race, the Velux 5 Oceans Race, and solo events such as the Vendée Globe and Golden Globe Race – follow a route that passes Cape Horn, and round‑the‑world sailing speed records are recognised for completing this course.

Day 8
ushuaia, argentina
Arrival: 08:00 - Departure: 18:00
Ushuaia, which overlooks the emerald waters of the Beagle Channel, claims to be the southernmost city in the world and is the largest city in Argentine Tierra del Fuego. The beautiful town is nestled between the freezing waters of the Bay of Ushuaia and the snow-clad peaks behind. The snow-capped mountains are in view almost everywhere you look. Ushuaia is a good base from where to explore the surrounding beautiful scenery but there is also plenty to see in town. Parallel to the shoreline, Avenida San Martin is the main commercial street of the town and where everything is happening. It is a popular place for strolling, the street is lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. In the centre of Ushuaia you can see some interesting old houses built in the old colonial style, as well as the interesting Museo Del Fin Del Mundo, located in the Old House of Government. This museum presents the history of Ushuaia and Tierra del Fuego including the history of the indigenous tribes that once inhabited this land. El Presidio is another popular attraction. The former prison of Ushuaia has been turned into a museum and an art gallery. Main attractions in Ushuaia are, however, on the dazzling outdoors, such as the Isla los Lobos, the penguin rookeries or the famous Martial glacier. Ushuaia is the gateway to Antarctica and the Tierra del Fuego National Park. It is a great place to view wildlife including penguins, dolphins, orcas, seals and a wide variety of birds. Ushuaia is where the world ends or where it starts.
