Cayo Guillermo, Cuba Cuba

Cayo Guillermo is one of the islands in the Jardines del Rey chain off the north coast of the province of Ciego de Ávila in Cuba. The island is a popular tourist destination and has four tourist resorts with all-inclusive packages, in addition to having one of the best beaches in the country. According to legend, Guillermo y Paredón Grande allowed Diego Velazquez to name the place in honour of the Spanish monarch Fernando El Católico. The main attractions in Cayo Guillermo are the beaches and the wildlife. It's highly recommended to explore the real Cuba. Excursions to Morón or a night trip to Trinidad and La Habana are some of the organised trips on offer.
