Pure Italy (2027)

Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.As an introduction to the city, we include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood of known for its typical small restaurants.

In the morning, we’ll take a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour of Imperial ROME with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The tour will end at VATICAN CITY around 11:00 a.m. After that, our guide will offer an optional tour of the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Free afternoon.

After breakfast, we’ll head to TUSCANY and the Emilia-Romagna region, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Apennine Mountains. Our first stop is BOLOGNA, the capital of Emilia-Romagna, a city with a rich history dating back to Roman times and a prominent cultural and culinary center in Italy. You’ll have time to explore its famous covered arcades, stretching along numerous streets and buildings, iconic towers, and main square. Known as the "city of food," Bologna is the birthplace of classic dishes like tagliatelle al ragù (Bolognese sauce) and lasagna. The city is also famous for its cold cuts, cheeses, and delicious Italian gelato. We’ll stop here for lunch.In the afternoon, we’ll continue to FERRARA, a city surrounded by 9 km of ancient walls. Its historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features notable landmarks such as the grand medieval castle, the Cathedral of Saint George, and its Renaissance palaces.We’ll then make our way to VENICE, arriving in the evening, where we’ll stay in Mestre or a nearby area.

In the morning, we’ll provide a boat transfer to VENICE, a city built on over 100 islands connected by more than 400 bridges. The boat will drop us off at the St. Mark´s area. We’ll go on a walking tour with a local guide through the city of canals (included). Afterwards, you´ll have free time to explore on your own. In the afternoon, you can enjoy an optional gondola ride along the canals.

After crossing the picturesque landscapes of the Apennines, we’ll arrive in FLORENCE. Our first stop will be Piazzale Michelangelo, a viewpoint which offers a breathtaking view of the city. You´ll have free time for lunch. In the afternoon, we´ll do a guided tour of the city center, covering iconic sites like the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is truly an open-air museum. Enjoy some additional free time to explore the city at your leisure.

Half board includes: Crespella a la Fiorentina Grilled pork steak with baked potatoes and salad Tiramisu. Bread and mineral water.

We’ll travel to SIENA, where we’ll have the chance to see the stunning Piazza del Campo and its beautiful cathedral. Next, we’ll head to ASSISI for an included visit to the Basilica with a local guide or a Franciscan monk. Free time for lunch. Arrival in ROME in the evening.
